Production Associate (2nd Shift)Position: Production Associate (2nd Shift) Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:30 am (OT as required) Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00+ per hour (DOE) + $2 shift differential + Full Benefit Package Location: Minnkota Windows West Fargo, NDSummary Of ResponsibilitiesThe Production Associate position is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of windows and patio doors across multiple stages of production. This includes, but is not limited to:Vinyl FabricationWeldingHardware InstallationMulling / Prepping for AssemblyFinal AssemblyPaint PreparationSpecialty ProductionProduction Associates may perform work in one or more of these areas and are responsible for assembling products from raw materials through finished goods while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.Essential Job FunctionsEmbrace and demonstrate the qualities of the Minnkota Windows Game Changer definition.Engage in team-based lean and continuous improvement activities to improve workflows and efficiency.Read and interpret job documentation, work orders, and shop floor paperwork; perform tasks as assigned.Perform production tasks across assigned areas, including fabrication, welding, assembly, hardware installation, paint prep, or specialty production.Assemble materials to produce subassemblies or finished products from raw materials.Ensure proper labeling of all products and components.Track production output and progress using boards or systems.Inspect products at each workstation to verify they are free of defects and meet quality specifications.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Notify supervisor of mechanical, material, quality, or safety issues.Meet or exceed production goals and deadlines.Maintain a strong focus on safety in all tasks.Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and other departments to meet production requirements.Prompt and dependable attendanceOther duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, And QualitiesAttention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work on timeCommunicate clearly and work effectively both independently and as part of a teamAbility to learn new tasks and follow work instructions, job documentation, and shop-floor paperworkSafety-first mindset with consistent adherence to safety proceduresProactive problem-solving and a continuous-improvement mindsetWorking knowledge of products, their intended use, and core manufacturing processesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environmentDependable and accountable, with reliable attendance and adherence to scheduled work hoursEducation And Work ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED required.Specific Requirements for Level 2 Production Associate 2:In addition to Level 1 requirements:Perform advanced production tasks, including specialty window and patio door assembly (e.g., bays, bows, 4500 series, specialty shapes).Demonstrate proficiency across multiple production stages (fabrication, welding, assembly, finishing, etc.).Provide guidance and support to Level 1 associates to ensure quality and efficiency.Assist in coordinating workflow and production priorities within assigned work area.Identify and troubleshoot production, quality, or process issues.Maintain a high level of product knowledge, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.Support training efforts and help onboard new team members.Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills.Actively contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency gains.Proven track record of dependable attendance, quality work, and productivity.EEO EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
