Job description
Production AssociateThe Production Associate is responsible for performing production tasks according to standard operating procedures (SOP), safety standards and manufacturing guidelines. Completes daily assigned tasks to meet production volume and schedule and ensures that the manufactured product meets company and customer specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate production machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.Perform assembly, material handling, cutting, packaging, or related production tasks.Review line worksheets/schedules to determine the sequence of production.Load recipes or materials used to produce products per the specific line schedules.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production schedules.Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or product defects to leadership promptly.Maintain accurate counts, labels, and production documentation as required.Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of safety hazards (5S standards).Neatly stack and tag finished product to be moved to next phase of operation or boxing, based on schedule.Assist team members and participate in cross-training to support multiple production lines.Comply with all company safety rules, including PPE requirements and safe lifting practices.Other duties as assigned based on business needs.Skills & CompetenciesSafety-first mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentTeamwork and communicationAbility to inspect materials and finished productions for quality and accuracyAbility to follow work instructions (SOPs), schedules, and safety rulesBasic computer, math and, measurement skillsAbility to learn new tasks and cross-train across multiple production linesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrior manufacturing or production experience preferredWork Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing facility with machinery, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.Requires standing for long periods and regular lifting, pulling, and pushing.Use of PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.).Must be able to lift 30lbs alone and up to 90lbs with assistanceMust be able to use cutting tools and read a micrometer, which measures the thicknessWe offer more than just a job—we offer steady work, competitive pay, and opportunities to earn more.Monthly Production Bonus – Earn additional pay based on team and plant performanceAttendance Bonus – Get rewarded for reliability and consistent attendanceShift Differentials – Additional pay for working off-shiftsBiweekly Pay – Consistent and reliable pay scheduleComprehensive Benefits – Medical, dental, vision, and more effective the 1st of the month following your hire dateConsistent Hours & Steady Work – Reliable schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentTeam-Oriented Culture – Work alongside leaders who support safety, quality, and your successIf you're dependable, ready to work, and want to be rewarded for your effort, this is the place for you.No travel required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
