Start and end times vary by site yet all shifts are a straight 8 hours.1ST SHIFT: Hours between 6AM-3PM2ND SHIFT: Hours between 2PM-11PM3RD SHIFT: Hours between 10PM-7AM-training on first day will require reporting up to 1 hour prior to normal shift start timeAssist with manufacturing and packaging of candy (caramel and chocolates)Mixing of candy, caramelDip pretzels into caramelPlacing product on lines for dipping into chocolateWork on conveyor belt with wrapping and packaging of assorted candiesPlace packaged candy in containersPlace containers into boxesMisc. duties as neededWill also be required to clean and sanitize warehouse and work areas when asked.Required Qualifications:Ability to stand for 8 hours shiftBend, lift, twist and move 50 lbsReliable attendance habitsWear gown, hair net and long pants and comply with GMP'sAsk candidate if they are comfortable working in a food production facility where nuts are present.If candidate is uncomfortable with this requirement, reject the candidateDisqualify if:-If not willing to comply with strict dress code for food production environment-If unable to communicate in English or Spanish for safety reasons-Not comfortable standing in one spot for a long period of time-unable to work mandatory Saturdays-unable to report up to 1 hour prior to normal shift start time on first day for mandatory trainingFollow all GMP regulationsRehires: Ask if candidate has worked for Candy Co before.
