Production AssociateSonstegard Farms – Sheldon, IAThis position will assist in the care of layer birds, egg packaging, and cleaning. $15.00 Full-time, Day Shift. Weekends and overtime!How you'll spend your time:Accountable for proper packaging, sealing, labeling, and stacking of finished products.Responsible for overall equipment cleanliness and sanitation of production and barn areas.Observing product quality and reporting any problems immediately.Monitor water and feed.Check ventilation system in barns.Follow housekeeping standards.Proper documentation of records.Monitor pest control systems.Other duties as assigned.Perks:$15.00 Performance reviews after first 90 days, 6 months and annually.Paid holidays & 80 hours of PTO (accrued bi-weekly).Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision and Life benefits available.401(k) access with generous 4% company match!We're excited about you if you have/can...Must be willing to work weekends and overtime.Basic reasoning and thinking skills.Manage multiple tasks and projects.Follow and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP's) and safety requirements.Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.Physical Requirements: Lift product and material ranging in weight from 20 – 50 lbs on a continuous basis. Repetitive grasping, twisting, pulling, and pushing. Standing for the duration of shift. Working around loud equipment.
