As a Production Team Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring quality products, and delivering exceptional results that WOW our customers.Production Team Associates are responsible for adherence to Company and customer requirements for product manufacturing and packaging. This role is critical in producing high-quality products. You will be comfortable with change, as the Company implementing 5S methodologies and working to achieve ISO 9001 certification. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.Preference is given to individuals with experience operating forklifts (e.g., stand up, sit down, boom lifts). Black Diamond Coatings is a veteran-owned manufacturer of high-performance home improvement products — including sealers, polymeric sand, and mulch glue.What You'll Do:Champion of Company Core Values.Ensure compliance with guidelines for safety, quality and efficiency.Produce chemical finished goods and/or polymeric sand on the assembly line under the direction of the Production Supervisor, ensuring high-quality materials and packaging. Label products and boxes as needed.Manage and maintain production and warehouse layout and organization.Ensure production activity is efficient to achieve daily performance metrics.Prepare inventory and work status reports.Perform other duties, as assigned.Job QualificationsChemical blending experience, or other manufacturing preferredMinimum Education: High school or equivalent degreeMust have reliable transportationMust be able to work overtime and Saturdays, as neededMust be able to lift 50 pounds frequently (e.g., lifting multiple 50-pound containers off of the assembly line; stacking products on pallets; pulling and packing for shipping).CompetenciesDaily Activity - Demonstrates attention to detail.Attitude - Motivated to learn; Dependable; Team player; Go getter.Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason; mechanically inclined.Customer Service - Always maintains a Customer Care focus; Solicits customer feedback to improve service.Written communication – Must be able to read English to follow production instructions.Oral Communication – Clearly communicate.Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently.Operations - Able to drive a forklift.Appearance - Maintains a professional appearance appropriate for the daily activity; Ensures proper protective equipment, including footwear is worn.Physical DemandsRequired to lift heavy weight on a daily basis (50 pounds or greater).Required to walk.Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.Required to reach with hands and arms.Required to talk or hear.Required to bend, lift and climbSpecific vision abilities required for this job include: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus.Work EnvironmentExposure to moving mechanical parts.Exposure to fumes or airborne particles.Exposure to chemicals.Protective clothing or equipment is required including: gloves, boots, protective eyewear.Job Type: Full-time
