Production TechnicianKaiser Aluminum Alexco Chandler Arizona located 6520 W Allison Rd, Chandler, AZ is seeking Production Technicians to join our team in a fast-paced aluminum extrusion facility. Laborers are responsible for performing various tasks to support the production process, ensuring the smooth operation of the factory. Below is some awesome benefits we offer:Safety is our #1 priorityCompetitive Compensation – starting at $23.00/hr in our entry level packing, stretch, and press departments.Weekly Payday8 Hour Shift ScheduleCompetitive Shift DifferentialPaid Time OffSign On Bonus- $ Direct Hire OpportunityMonthly BonusReferral BonusAdvancement OpportunitiesGreat Benefits8-Hour Schedule- Pack & Stretch Duties and Responsibilities:Straighten and stretch material into dimensional tolerance.Ensure the correct jaws and plugs for the material to be stretched are used.Use the benchmark tool to determine if the requirements has been met.Keep work area cleanPerform other duties as neededEnsure the stencil is correctEnsure orders are packed properly.Ensure the packed boxes are storedKeep the work clean.Ensure the proper personal plant protective equipment is worn.Perform other duties as needed.8-Hour Schedule- Press Duties and Responsibilities:Assist set-ups in pulling tools when needed.Assist Press Crew with day to day press needs.Drilling and wiring metal.Assist with press inventory.Maintain die catalog.Relieve/work on run-out tables as needed.Perform other duties as neededWhat you will bring to the role:Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum 8 hours or more per shift.Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.Ability to lift 50 pounds unassistedExcellent attendance and must be reliable and punctual.Must have basic troubleshooting skillsMust have basic Reading & Math skillsMust be 18 years of age or olderOne year of Manufacturing Experience is required.About Kaiser Aluminum: Talented people join our team because we are a company passionate about environmental sustainability, employee growth, contributing back to our communities and championing an inclusive culture.No third-party candidate submissions are being accepted at this time for this opening.
