Job description
Job TitleResponsible for finishing and packing bumpers.Essential FunctionsLoads bumpers onto paint line.Unloads bumpers from paint line to finishing table.Polishes, wraps, and prepares bumpers for shipping.Box and band outgoing bumpers.Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.Conduct required quality checks.Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.Must possess a high level of attention to details.All other duties as assigned.Education and TrainingHigh School Diploma/GED required.Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferredMinimum QualificationsAbility to work overtime, as production demands require.Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.Must follow all safety practices and policies.Physical DemandsConstant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.Environmental ConditionsNon-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.Must wear appropriate PPEBehavioral TraitsProduction - Adopting a strong orientation toward achievement, holding high expectations for yourself and others, pushing yourself and others to achieve at high levelsCooperation - Accommodating the needs and interests of others by being willing to defer performance on your own objectives in order to assist colleagues with theirsConsensual - Valuing the ideas and opinions of others and collecting their input as part of your decision-making process.Listening - Understands and learns from what others say.Attention to Detail - Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasksTeamwork - Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.Safety Focus - Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.Hendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
