Job description
Production AssociateAs a Production Associate, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, gluing, measuring (both optical and mechanical), and packaging optical components at various stages of the manufacturing process.ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections and clean optical components.Glue and measure optical and mechanical components.Package components accurately and efficiently.Operate machinery and perform light maintenance as needed.Document process results accurately and legibly.Collaborate effectively within a team environment.Work overtime when necessary, including weekdays and occasional Saturdays.Essential SkillsGeneral production skills.Experience with hand tools.1+ year of experience in manufacturing, handling electronics or optics.Attention to detail in assembly tasks.Experience in operating machines and using calipers.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong reliability and dependability.Why Work Here?Join a supportive and collaborative team environment that values precision and attention to detail. Be prepared for necessary overtime on weekdays or occasional Saturdays.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ayer, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
