Production Associate- Gainesville, TXImmediately Hiring!3333 N. Interstate 35 Gainesville, TX 76240Hourly $19.16 with a $1.00 Differential12 Hour Shifts: Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday 6pm-6:30amAs a Production Associate you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that quality products are available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!Primary ResponsibilitiesFollow established procedures and guidelines to form a variety of simple, manual tasks that form part of a production process.Load materials into production machines.Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment.Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality.Remove, pack, and sort raw materials or finished products.Collect, and dispose of garbage and production waste according to the organization's waste removal and recycling policies.Clean production equipment and work areas.QualificationsAble to repeatedly lift to 50lbs within a scheduled shift.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.Proven history as being reliable and consistent with following attendance policies.Mechanically inclined with math and troubleshooting skills.Can make independent decisions that follow company policies and procedures.Ability to detect inconsistencies and a keen eye for details.Promote and utilize 5-S standards for the line to improve efficiency, cleanliness and safety.Must be able to work overtime as needed.Have good attendance and safety record.PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
