Job description
Production AssociateOur client, a leading meat distribution and food service company, is seeking dependable Production Associates to support daily meat production operations at their Auburndale, FL facility. This is a full-time contract position working in a cold storage/refrigerated environment, responsible for preparing, weighing, packaging, and storing meat products to meet quality and food safety standards.Location: Auburndale, FLSchedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 11:30 PMContract Duration: Approximately 10 weeks (400 total hours)Travel: None requiredKey Responsibilities:Pack, weigh, label, and prepare meat products for customer ordersAccurately store and organize products within designated production and storage areasMaintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production areaFollow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety proceduresWork efficiently and safely in a cold storage/refrigerated environmentAssist team members with production tasks to help meet daily production goalsRequired Qualifications:Ability to work in a cold storage/refrigerated environment for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow established food safety and sanitation proceduresBasic math skills for weighing and measuring productReliable attendance and punctualityPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in food production, meat processing, or a similar industrial settingFamiliarity with packing, weighing, and labeling equipmentAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environmentAbout the Role:This position offers an opportunity to join a respected food production operation supporting essential daily distribution activities.
