Job description
FleetPride AssemblerFleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. Partner with the best in the heavy-duty industry and apply today! Assembler will be responsible for assembly of axles and related components on the assembly line. Proper assembly is done to ensure a quality axle product in a safe and timely fashion, and to ensure all product is assembled, tested and verified to customer specifications.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCheck specs, load/unload production lines Utilizes measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.). Performs 100% manual inspection of parts. Inspect parts produced to ensure they meet specification, using basic inspection equipment. Make necessary offsets. Change/adjust production tooling. Complete production paperwork. Daily preventative maintenance, remove and dispose of chips/shavings, replenish fluids/lubricants, Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas - perform 5S cleaning responsibilities Understand and review the product throughout the product process to ensure final product quality meets standards. Must be able to work overtime if needed and have excellent attendance record. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
