Job TitleResponsible for assisting in all activities associated with safely running our corrugated converting equipment, including setup, operation, and cleanup.Work Schedule:1st Shift: Mondays 6:00AM-2:30PM, Tuesdays-Fridays 7:00AM-3:30PM3rd Shift: Mondays-Thursdays 8:35PM-7:05AMDuties:Practice all safety rules and regulationsMaintain work area in a neat and orderly conditionUphold all ISO policies and procedures in accordance with our Quality PolicyWork from written instructions, diagrams and production cardsFeed converting machines with raw materialsRecord production statistics within our ERP systemOther tasks as assigned by supervisorDesired Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredAbility to understand and follow both verbal and written instructionsAbility to read a tape measure with speed and accuracyWorks well with others in a team settingShows dependability on the jobQuality and results orientedDemonstrates a professional attitude and even-tempered response through interactions with othersAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic formAbility to solve problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situationsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:stand, walk and communicate with others (both speaking and listening) - regularlyuse hands to adjust, manipulate and feel product - frequentlyreach with hands and arms - frequentlystoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl - frequentlysit – occasionallylift and/or move up to 50 pounds - regularlyspecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusAbout BCIBuckeye Corrugated, Inc.
