Production AssociateWe are looking for a talented Production Associate on 3rd shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in North Charleston, SC.Job Summary:Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Ensure Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe work environment.Report Incidents: Promptly reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will contribute to a proactive safety culture.Compliance: Adhering to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations ensures that all safety and environmental guidelines are met.Use PPE: Consistently using appropriate personal protective equipment will protect you and your colleagues from potential hazards.Promote Team Safety: By looking out for one another and promoting interdependence, you'll foster a supportive and safe workplace.Environmental Awareness: Recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment will support sustainability efforts.Quality Control: Following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures will help maintain high product standards and reduce costs.Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in training and development, and engaging in ways to improve quality, safety, and processes will drive overall team and organizational success.
