Job description

Production AssociateAs a Production Associate, you work on the production floor assembling picture frames, using hand and power tools to install screws and hardware, and preparing finished products for shipment. You support smooth production operations by performing hands-on tasks with care, accuracy, and attention to detail in a warehouse environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble picture frames on the production floor by installing screws and hardware using hand drills and other hand tools.Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks according to production standards.Measure and align components accurately using a tape measure to ensure consistent product quality.Package completed picture frames by adding corner protectors and other packaging materials to prevent damage during shipping.Prepare products for shipment by packing, labeling, and staging items in the designated shipping area.Operate basic production and packaging equipment as needed to support general production and machine operation tasks.Perform general labor duties in the warehouse and production area, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean work area.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on the production floor and in the warehouse.Meet daily production goals by working efficiently and collaborating with team members.Inspect assembled and packaged frames for quality and report any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel.Essential SkillsPrevious production experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.Warehouse experience, including working on a production floor or in a general production setting.Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively, including drills.Proficiency in using a tape measure to take accurate measurements.Experience with packaging and packing products for shipping.Ability to perform machine operating tasks related to production and packaging.Comfort working in a general labor role that involves standing, moving, and handling materials throughout the shift.Attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly, measurement, and packaging.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general production, assembly, or manufacturing environments.Familiarity with using various hand tools and power tools beyond drills, such as screwdrivers and other basic tools.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on the production floor.Strong work ethic and reliability in adhering to scheduled hours and production expectations.Why Work Here?You join a hands-on, team-oriented environment where your contributions directly support efficient production and high-quality finished products. You work on or near the production line and in general warehouse areas handling materials, tools, and packaging equipment. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks during the shift. The dress code allows shorts or pants and a t-shirt, with closed-toe shoes required for safety. You regularly use hand drills, hand tools, tape measures, and basic production and packaging equipment while working on your feet for most of the day.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Midway, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
