This role helps keep production running efficiently by maintaining inventory, preparing materials, supporting machine setups, and ensuring operators have the necessary supplies and equipment.The ideal candidate has experience in a printing, packaging, converting, or manufacturing environment and is comfortable working with production components such as rollers, cylinders, plates, glue pads, adhesives, and basic hand tools.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and stage materials for production jobsAssist machine operators with setups and changeoversPrepare rollers, cylinders, plates, glue pads, and make-ready materialsMaintain inventory of production supplies and consumablesMonitor inventory levels and notify leadership when replenishment is neededOrganize storage areas and accurately store materialsCoordinate the repair or reconditioning of production rollersChange glue totes and support adhesive systemsDeliver materials and supplies to production teamsPerform basic mechanical and production-support tasksHelp reduce downtime by responding promptly to operator requestsMaintain clean, organized production and storage areasSupport plant housekeeping and 5S initiativesProperly store and dispose of waste, oils, adhesives, and consumablesFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company standardsPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and stoopingAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsAbility to work a 12-hour shiftAbility to safely work around manufacturing equipmentWhy Join Pregis?Competitive payMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysPaid training and developmentCross-training and career advancement opportunitiesStable, growing manufacturing environmentSafety-focused cultureDiversity and InclusionWe believe in diversity of thought and bringing together other traits and characteristics that make an individual bring a unique experience to Pregis.
