You'll be:Setting up and operating various types of automatic and semi-automatic mass finishing equipment (e.g., Electropolish, harperizing, sand blasters, tumbling, degreasing)Performing highly repetitive bench assembly and diagnostic operations on small mechanical units or components, using hand tools, assembly jigs, and fixturesConducting laser etching and identification operations on instruments, cassettes, handles, and machine partsExecuting repetitive heat treating operations, including Rockwell hardness tests and documentationPerforming functions in the Ultrasonic cellBuffing, polishing, and grinding workpieces to maintain contour, edges, and dimensionsOperating all assigned equipment per work instructions, verifying specifications, and keeping equipment operationalMaintaining supplies inventory and miscellaneous logs; retrieving blueprints and work instructions via computer system as neededFollowing all OSHA and company-specific guidelines for safetyCompleting other responsibilities as assignedThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Are eager to learn manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality standardsCan follow established procedures and work under close to general supervisionAre detail-oriented and able to visually detect defects in productsHave the ability to work in a repetitive production environment and develop proficiency in assigned operationsAre comfortable working the 2nd shift (2 pm – 10:30 pm)Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Previous experience in manufacturing or production is a plus, but not requiredOnce you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
