Job description
Production AssociatePerform repetitive packaging tasks, maintaining consistent quality and speed throughout the shift. Use plastic wrapping to securely wrap products according to established standards. Assemble boxes, place wrapped products into boxes, and prepare them for shipment. Load packaged boxes onto conveyors or trucks for outbound shipping. Work in teams of three, coordinating tasks to keep production and packaging moving efficiently. Maintain a fast-paced workflow while following all safety and production guidelines. Use hand tools and basic power tools as needed for packaging and mechanical assembly tasks. Support general production activities, including assembly line work and machine operation related to packaging. Handle shipping and receiving duties associated with packaging and manufacturing processes. Lift and move products and boxes weighing up to 40 pounds as part of routine tasks. Demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination to perform precise and repetitive packaging activities. Follow training instructions carefully, progressing to full proficiency within the typical two-week training period.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.At least 1 year of production or manufacturing experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production and assembly environment.Strong hand-eye coordination for consistent and accurate packaging tasks.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.Comfort using hand tools and basic power tools in a manufacturing setting.Reliability and teamwork skills to work effectively in teams of three.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete training within approximately two weeks.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perrysburg, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.55 - $18.55/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
