Job description
Production AssociateWe are hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Production Associates to support our finishing and production departments. This position will primarily work in our powder coating area and may assist with washing parts, sandblasting, hanging parts, and other production tasks as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day and wants to learn multiple areas of manufacturing. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.Qualifications and Skills:Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not requiredForklift experience is a plusPowder coating or sandblasting experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidateAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. consistentlyAbility to stand for long periods of timeComfortable working in a warm environmentAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsDetail-oriented with a focus on qualityAbility to work well on a teamWillingness to be cross-trained and work in multiple departments as neededJob Duties: This position will support various areas of our finishing and production departments, including but not limited to:Washing and preparing parts for powder coating or finishingSandblasting parts in blast boothPowder coating partsLoading and unloading parts on a moving track systemInspecting parts to ensure quality standards are metPackaging finished productAssisting with basic product assembly or other production areas as neededOperating a forklift (if qualified)Keeping work area clean and following all safety proceduresBenefits:Paid holidaysVacationHealth, dental, and vision insurance plans401k retirement plan with company matchOvertime available1st Shift Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am
