Production Associate - Wood Products ManufacturingPrideStaff, a recruiting firm specializing in staffing for Central Oregon businesses, is recruiting for an entry level wood products Manufacturing Associate for a certified zero waste wood products supply facility in Prineville, OR. This is a long term opportunity with a company dedicated to supplying quality wood products to customers, and promoting a teamwork environment for employees, offering a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and professional growth.Job Responsibilities:Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments of wood products and materialsAccurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouseConduct regular inventory counts and reconciliationsAssist in loading and unloading delivery trucksInspect wood products for quality and report any defects or issuesFollow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipmentAssist with general warehouse maintenance and upkeep as neededFollow proper lifting techniques and safety guidelines when handling heavy materialsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding inventory levels, order status, and any operational issuesSkills Required:Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularlyFamiliarity with wood products and lumber terminology a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillmentTeam player with good communication skillsReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicBasic math skills for inventory counts and order processingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesKnowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations in a warehouse settingPhysical stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsFlexibility to work overtime or weekend shifts as neededPrideStaff can offer you a wide-range of rewarding career options.
