Operating in eight states with eighteen locations throughout the Midwest, Southern, and Eastern United States, we utilize state-of-the-art equipment and employ the newest techniques, allowing us to offer advancement opportunities in a continually growing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) landscape.Pay Rate: $16.00 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime as neededBenefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchPaid Time OffHoliday PayAdditional Benefits AvailableJob Summary: The Production Associate reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for accurately cutting and assembling hydraulic hoses while following company policies, procedures, and customer requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble assigned product parts in accordance with production guidelines.Complete and submit inspection paperwork.Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment while following all safety procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all quality standards and inspection requirements.Support and collaborate with team members to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.Identify and address nonconforming products and quality issues.Participate in training programs and lead by example regarding quality standards, safety practices, and compliance.Perform additional duties as assigned to meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements.Skills and Qualifications:Ability to balance competing priorities and work with a sense of urgency.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build professional working relationships and maintain effective team communication.Ability to read and use tape measures and digital calipers to measure length, width, thickness, diameter, and depth.Requirements:Must be at least 18 years old.Ability to operate various equipment including saws, crimpers, forklifts, and related machinery.Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.Ability to read and interpret technical work instructions and documents.Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds using proper lifting techniques.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Basic computer skills.Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.Preferred Qualifications:Forklift certification preferred. Training will be provided.Work Environment:This position is located in a production facility and requires frequent use of hands, fingers, arms, and vision while standing for extended periods.Employees regularly communicate with coworkers to troubleshoot and complete tasks.Fine motor skills are required to operate tools, measuring devices, and equipment controls.Required personal protective equipment (PPE) may include: Safety Glasses, Gloves, Ear Protection, Safety Shoes, Other PPE as Required.Employees must be able to see objects and details at close range to safely operate equipment, read labels and documents, and identify products.Value Added Companies (VAC) complies with federal and state disability laws and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants and employees with disabilities.
