We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Rotational Shift Schedule 4/3/3/4: Day Shift Hours (5:40 AM - 6 PM) and Night Shift Hours (5:40 PM - 6 AM) Work life balance schedule: 14 working days in a 28-day rotation; includes an 8-day long break and 2-day breaks Pay: Starting pay of $17/hour with increase to $18/hour upon successful completion of training, plus a $1.25/hour night shift differential for night rotation. As your skills increase your pay can too!Position Summary: As a Trim and Moulding Extrusion Operator you will work with your Lead Operator and Stackers in executing daily activities and goals of the department. You will follow all standards in key areas such as safety, housekeeping, quality and productivity. You will present a positive attitude and help motivate all associates to work at their highest potential.Set up dies, extrusion machines and auxiliary equipmentObserve machine operation to detect profile defects or machine malfunction and readjust operating conditions such as heater, water and vacuum settings; pressure; screw and conveyor speed; and cooling systemConduct quality checks by measuring product dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation by using precision calipersMove finished profile and prepare skids of product for shipmentCarry scrap and defective boards to the scrap racks/skids & transport to the grinder/ recyclingFill hopper, and perform minor machine maintenance such as lubrication and cleaning diesTake hourly readings of machine gauges and document results on run sheetsPerform Oracle transactions to accurately track material inventory levelsAccurately count and report production and inventory at end of shiftPerform duties in safe and responsible mannerTrain and mentor stackersAttend all plant EHS training as scheduled, and follow guidelines, rules, procedures and programs as trainedSupport and help execute the department goals and objectivesOther duties and responsibilities as assignedEducation/ Experience: Successful completion of OSHA mandated fork truck training is required.
