Job description
Production AssociateOur partner company provides functional and aesthetic solutions for various architectural, safety, and construction applications. They are a place where hard work over personal history is respected, with physically engaging work in a tight-knit team environment.Summary: Seeking physically capable individuals with a robust work ethic to be an integral part of the production team, which ensures the efficient processing of the company's metal products. This is a physically demanding role that requires grit and stamina.Pay: $18 - $20/hr depending on direct skills and experience Benefits after hire: Vacation, Medical/Dental, Profit Sharing Available schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm After training, OT is frequent and expected - flexibility with hours preferredDutiesRead and interpret work orders, including units of measurement.Manually transport up to 50lbs and/or lift with team parts to staging areas for productionManually cut, trim, and edge wire bordersUse hand toolsSet up machines to start a production cycleManually control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) for optimal outputSet up raw materials or parts to feed into machinesFocus on making sure that quality aligns with production resultsSkills and qualificationsAt least 6 months of consistent, recent work in a manufacturing or shop work environment (metal or wood shop experience is preferred)Ability to stand, lift (up to 50lbs frequently), move, bend, and reach for extended periodsExperience with precision measuring instruments and hand tools preferred.Exceptional hand-eye coordinationWillingness to learn, apply knowledge, and work both independently and as part of a team.Reliable and committed work ethic
