Step Up to the Plate as a Production Associate!Location: Woodridge, IL Department: Manufacturing Pay: $18 per hour Shift: First ShiftMonday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. 5:30am-2pm, though hours may vary slightly based on production needs.At Home Run Inn, we believe pizza should do more than fill you up—it should lift you up.For nearly 100 years, we've been making authentic Chicago tavern-style pizza that brings people together. You'll work alongside a team to prepare, assemble, package, and label our products while making sure every pizza meets our standards for quality, safety, and consistency.You'll be an important part of the process—from the ingredients that go into each product to the finished pizzas that make their way to families across the country.No two days are exactly the same, but one thing stays consistent: we make great pizza together.You'll Spend Your TimeMaking great pizzaOperate, monitor, and maintain food processing equipment according to established proceduresAssist with assembling, packaging, and labeling productsFollow recipes, measurements, and product specifications to ensure consistencyFollow proper procedures when handling raw ingredientsMake sure materials such as boxes, totes, bags, and raw ingredients are available when neededKeeping quality and safety firstFollow all company safety, GMP, and food safety requirementsHelp create a culture where teammates look out for one another and work safelyInspect raw materials and finished products for quality and consistencyReport product issues, defects, or inconsistencies to your supervisorImmediately report equipment concerns or malfunctions to the Production LeaderWear required personal protective equipment and follow workplace safety proceduresKeeping the production floor runningMake sure equipment is operating properly at your assigned positionClean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and tools before, during, and after your shiftUse downtime to support department and production line cleaningWork cooperatively with teammates to meet production goals and deadlinesCommunicate with supervisors and other departments to help resolve issuesJump in and support other duties as assignedYou're a Great Fit If You...Take pride in doing quality workPay attention to the detailsLike working as part of a teamCan follow instructions and established processesAre dependable and ready to get the job doneAre comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentAren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get to workUnderstand that safety and quality come firstWhat You'll BringPrevious experience in food processing, manufacturing, production, or a similar environment is preferredAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsStrong attention to detailAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic math skills for measurements and production trackingAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamAbility to speak, read, and understand EnglishWillingness to follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety requirementsWhat to ExpectFull-time, first-shift position based in our Woodridge Manufacturing facilityA fast-paced, hands-on work environmentTemperature-controlled areas that may be cold or warm for extended periodsSome areas may be loud and require hearing protection and other protective equipmentRegular exposure to food allergens, including milk and wheatPotential exposure to cleaning chemicals and biological materialsA physically active role that requires standing, walking, lifting, and movement throughout the shiftA team environment where everyone plays a role in getting the job doneWhy Home Run Inn?We're more than a pizza company—we're neighbors serving neighbors.For four generations, we've built our business around people.
