Job description
Job TitleOversees creation of daily build plan reporting as well as other planning and maintenance reports. Supports production control in issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as well as expediting and prioritizing parts through the factory and maintaining scheduled dates on work orders.Position ResponsibilitiesOversees daily creation of reports required by the planning department.Data input for maintenance details of the items and work orders using manual input and data uploads.Support the execution of both short term (0-4 weeks) production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all customer orders.Analyses capacity planning and material requirements advising Sales of push outs.Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.Approves and implements deviations from schedules and ECNs.Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities RequiredAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical skillsProven track record of quality/continuous improvement initiativesExcellent MS Office skills, especially ExcelHigh attention to detailPosition QualificationsEducation:Associate's degreeBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredExperience:5+ years hands on experience in manufacturing environmentPrefer experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systemsWork Environment and Physical RequirementsOffice EnvironmentAbility to sit for long periods of timeVision abilities required to validate and enter data on computerDisclaimer: This list does not represent all physical demands.
