Production ControllerThe Production Controller plays a key role in ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and execution of production schedules. This position serves as the bridge between materials management, warehouse operations, order management, quality, and production teams to maintain workflow continuity, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing professional with strong planning, materials, and analytical experience who is looking to expand their impact and grow into future leadership opportunities.What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:Release, monitor, and close work orders to support production schedules.Coordinate material availability and proactively address shortages that could impact production.Partner with production teams to identify schedule gaps and maintain schedule adherence.Run daily material and work order reports; escalate critical issues as needed.Collaborate with Order Management to support on-time material delivery.Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, material reconciliation, and analysis.Utilize SAP and ERP/MRP systems to execute production and material transactions.Develop and maintain Excel-based reporting, dashboards, and production analytics.Resolve production, inventory planning, and forecasting issues independently.Drive process improvements and support cross-functional initiatives.Influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority.To Thrive in This Role, You Have:3+ years of experience in production control, production planning, supply chain, materials management, or a related manufacturing function.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.Experience managing work orders in a manufacturing environment.Strong SAP experience preferred; experience with other ERP/MRP systems will also be considered.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis.Experience with inventory analysis, cycle counts, material reconciliation, and inventory accuracy.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.Preferred QualificationsExperience in rail, automotive, aerospace, defense, industrial equipment, machinery, electronics manufacturing, or other large-scale assembly environments.Experience leading projects or process improvement initiatives without formal authority.Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in future team leadership opportunities.Why Siemens Mobility?Support one of Siemens Mobility's largest manufacturing operations in North America.Gain exposure across production planning, materials management, warehouse operations, manufacturing execution, and order management.Work closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders.Make a direct impact on production schedules and vehicle delivery performance.Build the experience and visibility needed for future leadership growth.Work AuthorizationApplicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.BenefitsSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
