THIS IS A NORTH DAKOTA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This ND National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SCHEDULING), Position Description Number D2510000 and is part of the ND 119 Operations Group, National Guard.
Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to perform preliminary planning and long term forecasting of utilization of aerospace vehicles, engines, and associated support equipment Responsible for advising, planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance requirements and utilization scheduling between maintenance, operations, and external organizations. Actively participates in daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling, and quarterly/yearly planning programs and meetings. Reviews both immediate and long-range requirements based on current workload forecasts and conditioned based maintenance and develops plans for obtaining resources to meet production requirements. Maintains historical documents and maintenance data essential for aircraft records accuracy. Develops and maintains job standard master listings (JML) for assigned equipment in the MIS in coordination with functional work centers. Monitors and updates status of Work In Process (WIP)

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess the experience, education or training which indicates the ability to reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understand the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess at least one year of specialized experience or training equivalent at the next lower grade in the normal line of progression through federal service (GS 07) or equivalent experience in the private sector which includes 1) scheduling workflow in more than one area; 2) Preparing job or work orders; 3) Following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes; 4) Experience with automation support programs to input data, provide status updates, and requisition and track parts.
