Avenue K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050Work Hours: 2nd Shift Monday through Friday 1pm to 9:30pm.How You Will Make an ImpactAs a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Production Coordinator (Expeditor) is a critical role and is responsible for planning daily operations based on production schedules and coordinating the movement of material to ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.What You Will DoProvide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team membersCommunicate effectively with appropriate team members on production issues, on-time delivery, and problem solvingBe a champion of the daily schedule goals by working with pre-production departments and coordinating all production flows.Research and resolve open orders report dailyPartner to find the most efficient process and suggest improvements where needed/identified; encourages team members to provide suggestionsWill cross train team members from other areas to ensure a flexible teamQualificationsKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesDesire to learn/growExcellent written and verbal communication and listening skillsConfident decision making and solution orientedGreat attention to detail and organization skillsFlexibility to work varying shifts in support of the operationThrives on solving problems in both traditional and creative waysEducation/ExperienceHS Diploma or GED and/or 2-3 years' experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing settingBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis.
