Production CoordinatorWilliams International is a privately-owned company that develops and manufactures jet engines for both military and commercial aircraft applications. The Production Coordinator is responsible for the physical and systematic movement of all materials and hardware within an assigned manufacturing cell. This includes maintaining proper storage, creating kits, and distributing materials to their appropriate locations.Duties include but are not limited to:Utilize SAP to locate and issue required components to production orders.Receive and close incoming production orders. Package, prepare, and deliver orders to next destination.Process material transactions, including stock transfers, order releases, and inventory adjustments.Create shippers and deliver materials to shipping department for outside processing.Distribute materials to production and assembly areas, ensuring correct parts and quantities are available to meet production needs.Create production kits with required parts and instructions for next level assemblies.Store incoming material by organizing and creating proper storage locations. May require the use of forklifts and pallet jacks.Maintain responsibility for and accountability for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company's Quality Policy.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 1-2 years' experience working with manufacturing or inventory systems.Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work.Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).U.S. citizenship is required.Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
