Production AssistantUS Concerts is seeking a Production Assistant, responsible for ensuring the success and reconciliation of show and event productions by coordinating the technical, personnel and financial aspects of the Production department while supporting & collaborating with the Production Manager with thorough & detailed preparation.Passionate and motivated. At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!This role will do the following:Ensure positive and creative environment for the Production department and VenueAssist/complete a daily show flash (P&L) of every eventHave a detailed understanding of deal structure and the settlement processMaintain department manuals and training materials for all production positionsTrain /Assist and support production department personnel with job functions as neededResponsible for awareness to the budget and tracking the financial aspects of departmentAssist/Create and maintain inventory and maintenance logEnsure all procedures are cost effectiveCreates daily/weekly show schedule to present weekly at staff meeting Ensuring information is distributed to Operations Managers in a timely basisWork with the Production Manager scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelinesMaintain regular communications with Production Manager and the GMFacilitate proper interdepartmental communication and organizationHelp to manage stage, sound, and lighting crewsCoordinate operational feedback with Talent BuyerAdvance technical and Hospitality details for shows/events along with the Production Manager/teamAssist with overseeing maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, video systems advising on repairs when neededResponsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipmentAttends production and operations meeting as outlined by the GMMaintain a detailed and thorough filing system of all "past show" files on the shared driveMaintain accurate vendor records, following Purchase Ordering SystemsThis person will bring the following:Calm / Professional and customer service orientedPrior production experience in an entertainment venueTour and Stage Production experienceUnderstanding of stage lighting, pro audio systems and video systemsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited informationComputer literate in Windows applications (Excel and Word a must)Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skillsConfident understanding of standard business accounting and math skillsPhysical Demands/Working Environment:Must be able to lift up to 75 lbsModerate to loud level or noise in work environmentEqual Employment OpportunityLive Nation strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of age, ancestry, color, religious creed, family and medical care leave, mental or physical disability, marital status, domestic partner status, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, political affiliation, national origin, race, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, intersectionality, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
