Role Description The Production Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Royal Center, IN. This position is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, including scheduling jobs, tracking work orders, and ensuring that materials, components, and resources are available to meet production targets. The role involves working closely with production, engineering, purchasing, and management teams to monitor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain accurate documentation and reports. The Production Coordinator supports quality and safety standards, updates production metrics, and helps implement process improvements. This role requires hands-on involvement on the shop floor and in the office to ensure smooth, efficient operation of palletizer and conveying equipment production.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with production, engineering, purchasing, and leadership teams.
Candidates should possess Production Planning and Production Management skills to schedule work, manage workflows, and ensure on-time completion of projects.
Candidates should possess Project Management and Organization skills to coordinate multiple orders, track timelines, and maintain accurate records.
Ability to interpret production drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions; familiarity with manufacturing or industrial equipment environments is beneficial.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and production; strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or experience in manufacturing coordination or related roles is preferred.
