Production Coordinator (Starlink) - 2nd ShiftRedmond, WASpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.Production Coordinator (Starlink)The Production Coordinator is a vital role within SpaceX's manufacturing and production teams. Production Coordinators work in support of all production leadership staff to ensure the on time delivery of components and assemblies.Responsibilities:Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to next production locationCoordinate physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock rooms, purchasing, production resources or any applicable work center within SpaceXEnsure parts are handled and protected properly and within SpaceX specificationsCoordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time delivery as requiredWork with the planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure our MRP/ERP data is and remains clean and accurateAssist with resolution of incorrect system data which is driving inappropriate demand, schedules, or could result in general failureAnalyze available data and develop metrics as required to drive optimal resultsWork with production personnel to ensure metric goals are understoodUpdate and utilize target management system to drive resultsWork with production supervisors and managers to ensure all metrics driven action requirements are completedDevelop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints as required for internal and customer useCommunicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership weeklyAssist production leadership and project teams with action item updates as requiredSupport logistics process through innovative staging of workflow as requiredSupport management of material certifications as required – prevent use of un-certified materialsSupport production and inventory personnel with "return to stock" and inventory purge actionsSupport purchase requisition creation for scheduled contract work as requiredOrganize and maintain the physical and electronic library for production related tooling and calibration database as requiredSupport projects or productivity development activities within assigned production cellsSupport assigned production cells with work order management activities as requiredBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalency certificate1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or administrative environmentPreferred Skills and Experience:3+ years of experience handling parts in a manufacturing settingStrong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of MS Office productsBachelor's degreeExperience in organizing files and documentsInventory experienceExperience with MRP/ERP systemsExperience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environmentsSQL and Tableau experienceAPICS certificationAdditional Requirements:Willing to work 2nd shift, overtime, weekends as needed. Estimated shift time: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AMAble to stand for extended periods – 8 hours minimumAble to lift up to 25 lbs unassistedMust be willing to work overtime and/or weekends as neededCompensation and Benefits:Pay Range: Level 1: $22.00 - $25.00 Level 2: $24.50 - $29.00 Level 3: $27.00 - $32.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks. You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year. Employees in Washington State accrue paid sick time in compliance with state and federal law. Company shuttles are offered to employees for roundtrip travel from select Seattle locations to the SpaceX Redmond office Monday to Friday.ITAR Requirements:To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
