Job Full Description
We are looking for Production Electricians with marine experience for a marine manufacturer located in New Orleans. This is a direct-hire opportunity with room for growth.
ELIGIBLE FOR $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS
Pay: $22.25 - $34.25 / hour depending on level with quarterly increases
Note : Level will be determined based on relevant experience, scope of role, skills, etc
Job Duties:
Job duties include but are not limited to cable fabrication, electrical panel assembly, wire stripping, electrical schematics layouts, hook-ups, and soldering.
Cable pulling and grooming raceways.
Must be able to work from engineering drawings, sketches, blueprints, and schematics, and follow written/verbal instructions.
Perform job duties with the use of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, drill motors, sand, and grinding tools, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements: 1 -3 years of related experience.
The ability to read blueprints, shop orders, sketches, and drawings is necessary for the completion of tasks or work.
Must be able to perform basic (simple) shop mathematics.
Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours as needed to accomplish the task.
General understanding of metric measuring system.
Naval craft experience is a plus.
