Military Occupational Specialty Code: 92S, 92Y, LS, DCResponsibilitiesClean and maintain buildings/facilitiesService, clean, and supply restrooms, and locker roomsClean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, racks, machines, and equipmentClean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners, microfiber towels, sponges, and squeegeesReport to the Shift Lead, and overall Project Manager as neededCapable of standing and moving for long periods of timeCapable of lifting and moving items up to 20lbs regularly, and up to 45lbs on occasionClean and maintain the cleanliness of buildings/facilitiesFollow company procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors, fixtures, and equipmentNotify Lead, or Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systemsEstablish and maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authoritiesGather trash from specified locations and empty to appropriate compactorMaintain outside around the building to keep free of trash and debrisSweep on walkways, to remove debris in order to maintain a clear pathwayWipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areasRemove recycling from specified locations and transport to appropriate compactorsQualificationsBasic Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderNo experience required, on the job training can be providedNo High School Diploma, GED, or college degree requiredPreferred Qualifications:Customer service experience1 year of similar work experienceAbout UsABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world's largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions.
