Production ForemanSummary: Lead and manage resources, tools, training, and direction for production employees to be safe, effective and efficient. Balance resource constraints to ensure products meet quality standards, are on time, and within budget.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of product by leading personnel to ensure fulfillment of production schedules at the lowest possible costBe a champion of safety by supporting plant safety training, driving safety processes and leading safety communicationHold teams accountable to processes, systems, and resultsActively coach and implement lean processes and toolsWork with Supervisors and Team Leaders to prevent and/or resolve issues earlyEnsure standardized work and process discipline are followedSuggest changes to equipment, tools, and methodsGain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, ethics and authenticityBuild strong effective teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goalsCreate a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization winFoster cross functional team approach at all levels. Remove barriers to progress and developmentQualifications:Previous direct supervisory or similar leadership experienceExperience in a high-mix, high-customized, low-volume manufacturing environmentExperience with ISO-90001 requirements and processesExperience with Lean ManufacturingStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skillsERP Computer experience, SAP preferredMS Office Word and Excel software experienceHS Diploma or equivalent experience. Associates Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Technology or higher preferred.Minimum of 5 years of related experienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:Lean SigmaLanguage Skills: Ability to read and understand English instructionsMathematical Skills: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Descriptive StatisticsPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
