Trace Lean 2nd ShiftLocation: Watertown, WI, US, 53094 Shift: Second Shift Employment Type: Hourly Full-time Position Facility: WatertownPay Rate: $26.44/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium Hours: 2:40pm – 11:00pm, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands). The Formulation Department is the area where the fresh pork is ground, the spices are added and then blended (formulated) to specifications for sausage making. This position will focus on chopping and chilling fat that will be added into product to meet specifications. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sanitation requirements in the department as well as operate, setup and teardown the machinery in the Formulation Dept.ResponsibilitiesPrepare equipment for use by utilizing detailed checklists for inspection and assemblyCompleting documentation accurately is criticalPerform periodic wash-downs of equipmentWork together with other Formulation Members to obtain World Class results in safety, yields, usages, and efficiencies.Utilizing SAP software functions for the department for inventory control and maintenanceMaintain the highest standards of detail as it relates to product specifications and qualityComply with USDA regulations, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety rules at all timesComplete all other duties as assignedExperiencePrior food manufacturing experience preferredGrinding experience preferred but not requiredForklift experience preferred; Must be able to obtain forklift license and keep safe driving recordSkillsTeamwork is a mustStrong written and verbal communication skills requiredAbility to read and understand a production scheduleAbility to work at a pace consistent with the process flowBasic computer skills requiredProven ability to multi-taskAbility to communicate effectively with the team and work toward a common goal without direct supervisionWillingness to work overtime as production demandsAbility to work at a pace consistent with the process flowPhysical DemandsAbility to hand grip up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 40 lbs on a regular basisWalking and/or Standing throughout the shiftBending and/or Reaching throughout the shiftAbility to work safely from elevated platforms and liftsAbility to work in a cold environmentWillingness to work in cold conditionsOther RequirementsMust be at least 18 years oldAbility to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background checkBenefits and Compensation Members have potential for a monthly bonus and 401k with a company match.
