This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of processing equipment, maintaining product quality, and adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to delivering a high-quality product that meets both company standards and customer expectations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
Basic understanding of machinery operation and safety procedures.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistent quality standards.
Familiarity with food safety regulations such as HACCP or GMP.
Basic mechanical skills for minor equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Ability to adapt to shift work and flexible scheduling.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance.
Follow established protocols for quality control, including sampling and testing panela at various production stages.
Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
The required skills enable the associate to operate processing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring continuous production flow. Attention to detail is crucial for monitoring product quality and identifying any deviations early in the process. Preferred skills such as mechanical aptitude allow the associate to perform minor repairs and maintenance, reducing downtime. Knowledge of food safety standards ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining product integrity and workplace safety.
