Production HelperShift + Pay + Location:1st shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime extending the day to approximately 4:00 PMPay: Starting at $22Where: Greenfield, INResponsibilities:Assist machine and production operators by manually moving materials, including stacking, loading, unloading, and staging products throughout the production area.Perform visual inspection of in-process materials to identify defects, irregularities, or quality issues and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.Wrap and unwrap products as needed to prepare them for further processing, storage, or shipment.Read and follow production work orders accurately to ensure correct materials, quantities, and processes are used.Place tags and labels on finished products to ensure accurate identification, traceability, and proper documentation.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and surrounding areas to support a safe and efficient production environment.Use basic hand tools and equipment safely while performing daily tasks such as loading, unloading, packaging, and material handling.Support general production and manufacturing activities, including repetitive lifting and movement of materials as required.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working around industrial machinery, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment.Essential Skills:Experience performing manual labor in a production, manufacturing, construction, or general labor environment.Ability to perform repetitive lifting and manual material handling throughout the shift.Skill in visual inspection to identify defects or quality issues in in-process materials and finished products.Ability to read and follow production work orders and written instructions accurately.Experience with general production tasks such as loading, unloading, staging, and packaging materials.Comfort working with basic hand tools and equipment in an industrial setting.Capability to maintain a clean and organized workstation while following safety procedures.Willingness to work overtime as needed, including extended weekday hours and potential Saturday shifts.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in manufacturing, general production, or construction work.Experience with material handling using tools and equipment such as forklifts or similar machinery.Familiarity with inspection, packaging, and labeling processes in an industrial environment.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks.Why Work Here?You will join a stable manufacturing operation that offers consistent 1st shift hours with opportunities for overtime and additional earnings. You will work around heavy equipment and moving materials, following safety procedures and using appropriate work attire suitable for an industrial setting.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
