Production Helper / AssemblerJoin our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. We are hiring for both mechanical and electrical assemblers (training provided). This position will require the use of hand and power tools and you will read blueprints and electrical diagrams for assembly. We are looking for reliable individuals are interested in learning a trade. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with medical benefits, weekly pay, and 401k while on contract.Job Overview:Job title: Production Helper / Assembler (Mechanical or Electrical)Location: Jacksonville, FL (northside)Pay: $17-$19/hr (based on shift/experience)Shift options:6:00AM-2:30PM (M-F) - overtime available3:00PM-11:30PM (M-F) - overtime availableManufacturing environment (non-climate controlled).Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems.Wire electrical components according to schematics and engineering drawings.Utilize hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measure.Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings.Stand for the entire shift and work on ladders to assemble units up to 8 feet in height.Qualifications:Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments is required.Ability to read a tape measure is required.Proficient in using hand and power tools.Wiring or mechanical skills are a plus.Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics is a plus.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in manufacturing is a plus.Backgrounds in construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, and other industries are beneficial.Why Work Here?This is a contract-to-hire position (90 days) with benefits offered while on contract.
