We serve livestock producers, equine owners and animal lovers across North America, providing the guidance, products and service they need to succeed — whether in the market or the show ring.The Production Lead role is responsible for ensuring the production schedule is followed daily, meeting production and quality goals. This is a 2nd shift role with a working schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with a $0.60 shift differential.Work DutiesEnsure the production schedule is followed daily, meeting production and quality goalsResponsible for performing multiple job duties to execute the daily planHelp with trouble shooting issues with batches, yields, and bagging problemsHelp in production when neededLead the shift exchange communication for daily review and response activitiesMonitor the workplace for improvements and safety concernsResponsible for ensuring area is kept clean and document all listed housekeeping duties on Sanitation records have been completedResponsible for participating and managing record keeping, safety, quality and production related activitiesProvide feedback, mentoring, coaching and direct observation of operator performanceOther responsibilities and tasks as assigned by managementMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalentMust be able to lift up to 55 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when requiredAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet working conditionsSelf-motivated with a solid work ethicGood attitude and works well in team atmosphereHandles other duties as requiredMaintain excellent attendanceGood interpersonal skills requiredThis is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team that values your expertise and invests in your growth.
