Production LeadOur client, a leading North American manufacturer of home and personal care products, is seeking Production Leads to join their team. As a Production Lead, you will be part of the production organization supporting day-to-day operations on the production floor. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team coordination, a solid working knowledge of cGMP and SOPs, and the ability to communicate clearly and troubleshoot workflow issues—all of which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Production LeadLocation: Commack, NYPay Range: $20.00/hrShifts Available:Fri - Sun, 6am - 6pmFri - Sun, 6pm - 6amWhat's the Job?Support the Shift Supervisor in carrying out daily production and operational activities to keep work moving safely and efficiently.Guide and assist team members by resolving workflow issues and ensuring assigned priorities are completed to meet production and shipping goals.Coordinate daily tasks and ensure activities are completed according to established procedures and quality standards.Communicate production status, issues, and updates to the Shift Supervisor and other departments to maintain alignment across the operation.Verify materials, equipment, and documentation are prepared for production runs, and support employee training on proper work practices, safety procedures, and quality expectations.What's Needed?2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or production environment, with prior lead or team coordination experience strongly preferred.Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Solid understanding of production processes, safety protocols, and quality inspection methods.Demonstrated ability to guide and support team members while maintaining focus on efficiency, safety, and product quality.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to troubleshoot workflow issues and make sound decisions within established guidelines.What's in it for me?Play a hands-on role in producing high-quality personal wipes trusted by leading brands.Build valuable experience in production support and quality inspection while helping maintain consistent output.Contribute to a safe, organized work environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.Develop leadership skills by serving as a resource for team members when leadership is not present.Work within a structured quality system supported by robust quality standards and in-house capabilities.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
