Production LeadNow hiring for a Production Lead Location: Kansas City, MO Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Schedule: 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Off Tuesday & Sunday Every Product Starts with You. Join us as a Production Lead in Kansas City and be the start of something real. You'll run machines, assemble parts, or pack goods that ship around the world. It's hands-on work with fair pay and room to grow. Staffmark is seeking a Working Team Leader to support production operations during peak times. This hands-on role spends most of the shift performing production work while assisting with employee training, shift support, safety compliance, and communication between temporary employees, customer leadership, and the Staffmark team.Job DutiesAssist with training and onboarding new employeesSupport shift start-ups and employee check-insAnswer questions and provide guidance on production tasksPromote safety compliance and proper PPE usageMonitor work quality and productivity standardsCommunicate issues to customer leadership and StaffmarkHelp ensure production goals and quotas are metProvide ongoing support to team members as neededEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to work safely in manufacturing and production environments. Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.Preferred QualificationsPrevious manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Lead.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery. Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
