Production LeadThe Production Lead works closely with the Worship Pastor, providing vision, leadership, and oversight of production and technical areas during services and events where people can encounter Jesus and be inspired to follow Him.At VRL we make disciples who make disciple-makers for Jesus. Your job will be tied to the values that help us to become and make disciples of Jesus as we:Abide in ChristMaintain growing relationship with JesusCreate a Relational CultureBuild all relationships like Jesus, graciously, directly, & lovinglyConnect the UnconnectedSeek to engage people beyond large settingsEquip Volunteers to ServePray for and invite others to serveShare Christ with OthersMake a habit to share Jesus in your life through words and actionsStrive to Make it BetterDo everything with faithfulness and tenacity, reflecting God’s glory in all areas of lifeThe primary responsibilities of the Production Lead include, but are not limited to the following:Lead the Production Team, including staff, contractors, key leaders, and volunteers.Create and lead volunteer recruitment and onboarding with a tiered leadership/training program for people to take next steps in a safe production environment.Foster spiritual growth and maintain a healthy, team-focused culture of care for one another.Stay current with production trends, technique, and technology to continually enhance production and weekend experience.Manage a large budget ensuring all projects remain within spending limits, tracking and forecasting hardware updates, replacements, and maintenance.Oversee execution of distraction-free worship services using audio, video, lighting, broadcast equipment, stage management, set design, and technology.Schedule volunteers and organize production needs for services and events.Partner with Worship Pastor and speaking pastor to creatively design and implement visuals, illustrations, lyric videos, and stage design to enhance the message of the gospel.Other duties as assigned.Experience and Qualifications:3+ years experience leading staff.3+ years of experience leading live production teams in a church environment required.Strong expertise in live audio with years of experience producing modern worship sound with modern technology (Digital audio consoles, Waves, Dante, DAW, Live broadcast mixing, etc)High proficiency in ProPresenter, lighting consoles and set up, video switchers (Black Magic/Ross), and camera equipment.Skilled in managing multiple projects and deadlines using project management softwareAbility to work a flexible schedule for seasons of irregular work hours.Expectations, Skills, & Abilities:Attend VRL church services on a regular basisAttend The Journey and sign a Commitment FormBe in full alignment with VRL's mission, vision, beliefs, and culture.Be in a Life Group on a regular basisCommitted to regular giving of income to God through VRLAbiding in Christ and continuing to grow toward Christ-likeness and spiritual maturity.Attend monthly All Staff meeting and participate in department meetings or other meetings when requested to do so.Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries and events of Valley Real Life.Benefits at Valley Real LifeComprehensive and affordable healthcare plans, including medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings with a 403(b)-matching contributionGenerous paid time off encompassing holidays and vacation daysLife insurance to offer added security and peace of mindAccess to an Employee Assistance Program for additional supportExtra benefits such as dedicated monthly time for spiritual growth and much more
