We are unified in our commitment to building a better world through the foundations of roads, bridges, and buildings in our communities across the United States.We are currently seeking a Production Lead for our Streetman, TX plant.What You Will Get:Competitive hourly payOpportunity for annual performance increases401k program with employer matchingRoom for growth and career advancementHealth insuranceDental & vision insurancePaid life insurancePaid short term disabilityPaid vacation and sick time11 paid holidaysMSHA/OSHA training providedWhat You Will Do:Manage all daily activities of department employeesDemonstrate and promote Arcosa ValuesFollow, promote, and enforce all safety rules and practices to ensure a safe work environmentDrive Change Events, Lean Events, Goals and Company PoliciesAccurately record and report all necessary documents related to the departmentUtilize Lean tools to enhance production throughout while maintaining a high production standardManage all assets & resources to ensure all required deliveries are metManage multiple tasks simultaneouslyIdentify issues, determine a root cause, and implement counter measuresMitigate challenges by utilizing innovative ideas and methodsPerform other duties as required or assignedWhat You Will Need:Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.Strong sense of responsibility; understanding of business implications of decisionsAbility to think strategically and creatively in generating solutionsHighly organized and capable of effective, efficient multi-taskingWorks independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employeesMust have strong oral and written communication skills and must be able to effectively present information to othersFlexibility to work effectively in a changing environmentAbility to adapt to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in prioritiesExercises good judgment and discretion in determining best method and procedure to be followedAbility to rapidly process and comprehend large amounts of detailed information and to consider the implications and consequences of new facts and make decisionsProven leadership skills; ability to build consensus, rally support around common goals and to motivate groups and individuals3 years leadership experienceGreat time/task management skillExcellent verbal/written communication skillProficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Working Conditions and Physical Environment: While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty. Regularly sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of hands and arms. Requires ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.
