Production Line Technician – 3rd ShiftLocation: Toledo, OH Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: 3rd ShiftJoin the A & M Cheese TeamA & M Cheese is a leading processor and distributor of premium cheeses throughout the United States. We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Production Line Technician to join our 3rd shift production team in Toledo, Ohio.In this role, you will help keep our production lines running efficiently by preparing materials, supporting packaging operations, maintaining product quality, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and take pride in producing quality products, we'd like to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with equipment setup and production line preparationOpen cheese cases and totes and prepare products for processingRemove packaging materials and cut cheese as required using hand knives and wire cuttersSupply production lines with materials and move products using pallet jacks and hand trucksInspect finished products to ensure quality standards are metPackage, box, label, weigh, and prepare products for shipmentStack finished goods on pallets and wrap pallet loads manually or with stretch-wrap equipmentOperate cardboard balers and assist with waste removalMaintain a clean and organized production areaMinimize product and material wasteFollow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Safely operate forklifts, pallet riders, and other material-handling equipment as neededPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to work in a cool, damp production environmentAbility to climb ladders when necessaryAbility to assist with lifting items weighing more than 100 pounds as part of a teamExperience operating forklifts or pallet riders is a plusMust successfully pass a background check and drug screeningSchedule3rd Shift HoursSunday: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AMMonday: 9:30 PM – 7:00 AMTuesday & Wednesday: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AMThursday: As neededCompensation & Benefits$18.00 per hourWeekly payHealth and prescription insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceBasic and voluntary life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidaysPaid time off (PTO)Become part of a team dedicated to quality, safety, and excellence in food production.
