Production Machine Operator / General Labor – 2nd ShiftLocation: Mesquite, TX Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-HirePosition SummaryWe are hiring a dependable Production Machine Operator / General Laborer to join a growing manufacturing operation in Mesquite. This position supports the production and packaging of specialty products and will involve operating and monitoring production equipment, handling materials, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing, machine operating, production, or general labor experience who is looking for steady full-time work and an opportunity to grow with a well-established company.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production and packaging equipment.Load raw materials and supplies into production machinery.Monitor equipment during production to ensure proper operation.Package, label, stack, and prepare finished products.Perform basic quality checks on products and packaging.Follow production instructions and established procedures.Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic adjustments as trained.Keep machines and surrounding production areas clean and organized.Move materials and finished products throughout the work area.Follow all company safety, quality, and sanitation procedures.Report equipment problems or product quality concerns to the supervisor.Assist with other general production and warehouse duties as needed.QualificationsPrevious manufacturing, production, machine operating, or general labor experience preferred.Comfortable working around and operating production machinery.Mechanically inclined and able to learn basic machine operation.Able to follow written and verbal instructions.Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks in a fast-paced environment.Able to stand and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.Able to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required.Willing to follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, hardworking, and willing to learn. The right person does not necessarily need extensive machine operating experience but should be comfortable in a manufacturing environment, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn production equipment.
