Our client, a contract manufacturer of electromechanical assemblies, needs a Production Manager to direct and coordinate production and the maintenance department. You will be responsible for production performance while maintaining quality requirements in the most cost-effective manner.You will report to the president of the company.

What you will be doing:
The Production Manager is crucial in driving operational efficiency across both Wautoma and Montello locations, ensuring teams achieve their targets smoothly.There are about 100 employees between the 2 locations.
Responsibilities include managing production schedules, fostering teamwork, and implementing lean manufacturing practices to minimize costs and errors - making a tangible impact on the company’s success.

What they are looking for:
Expertise in manufacturing leadership and operational management.
10+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, with at least in an operations leadership role.
Experience with lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S.
Working Knowledge of computer systems for managing production schedules (familiarity with SYSPRO is preferred).
Must be an effective communicator both verbal and written
BS in Operations Management or equivalent experience is strongly encouraged.
