Production Manager
Location: Poway, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $110,000–$125,000 annually

We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our production operation and help us take the next step in building a scalable, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing organization.
What You'll Do
As Production Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the Production department, including people, processes, productivity, quality, and delivery.
You'll:
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Production department
Establish priorities and ensure production stays aligned with customer and company commitments
Manage production schedules, capacity, workload, and resources
Monitor production performance and establish meaningful department metrics
Identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, and potential delays before they become larger problems
Lead and develop the Production team, including our Production Lead
Set clear expectations and provide coaching, feedback, and performance support
Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and development of production employees
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve production challenges
Ensure production meets established quality standards, work instructions, and specifications
Drive continuous improvement in production processes, workflow, tools, and efficiency
Help develop and maintain standardized production processes
Identify opportunities to reduce rework, improve throughput, and increase productivity
Communicate production status, risks, resource needs, and opportunities to company leadership
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can combine strong people leadership with practical manufacturing experience .
You should have:
5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing
2+ years of experience leading or managing a production team
Experience managing production schedules, priorities, and competing demands
Strong understanding of manufacturing or assembly processes
Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, quality, and workflow
Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, or similar teams
