Job description

Our focus is on performance that drives progress, creating transportation solutions that move and improve the world.Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform general assembly of products in accordance with product specifications and engineering drawings.Conduct required inspections of products following Quality Procedures.Build hatch cover structures using fiberglass, resins, and hard structural materials, utilizing a variety of hand tools, including pneumatic tools.Interpret work instructions and work safely, including wearing appropriate PPE, while maintaining a clean work area.Collaborate within a team structure and perform additional duties as deemed necessary.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform general assembly of products in accordance with product specifications and engineering drawings.Conduct required inspections of products following Quality Procedures.Record applicable inspection/test results and interpret them to reflect job function requirements as necessary.Work safely and maintain a clean work area.Perform additional duties as deemed necessary.Must be able to arrive on time and work a full shift, including a full workweek.QualificationsAbility to use common hand tools.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Ability to interpret and apply standards.Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day.Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.Ability to work in a closed environment, specifically within a cave system.Ability to work on uneven surfaces.Education and/or ExperiencePrior assembly experience in a manufacturing facility preferred but not required.Fiberglass experience preferred but not required.Physical DemandsAbility to stand for approximately 8 hours per day.Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.Working Environment/Environmental HazardsEnclosed cave environment with climate control.Work with fiberglass, resins, and other chemicals.Our corporation is committed to taking on the world's toughest challenges by fostering a culture of leadership, diversity, and inclusiveness.
