Job PostingLocation: McPherson, KSResponsibilitiesSet up machines and identify materials for job performance.Complete material requisitions accurately.Produce completed parts to quality standards using appropriate equipment.Enter time and labor reporting daily with accuracy.Handle materials, tools, and equipment manually or with a jib crane.Layout, cut, and fit parts as required for welding.Fabricate new metal components according to product data sheets and safety standards.Solve problems and develop innovative solutions while maintaining safety standards.Maintain tools and equipment to professional standards and keep the workstation clean.Coordinate workflow with team members and third-party agents.Maintain high quality standards as per quality and engineering standards.Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems daily.Employ physical strength and endurance for machining tasks.Perform additional duties as necessary.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 3 years of experience in a custom build shop preferred.Ability to read and understand blueprints and 3D prints/schematics.Proficiency in operating a computer for data input.Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices.Preferred SkillsEffective communication with team members and management.Accountability for results and mechanical aptitude.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
