Job description
Manufacturing Equipment OperatorOperate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time. Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space. Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned. Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift. May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments. Assist in changeovers when needed. Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters. Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals. Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in a fast-paced, Manufacturing Environment. Must have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors and other levels of the organization to create a positive, team-oriented environment. Ability to read and write in English. Basic Math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking measurements.
